Hey, I’m Gary!
I’m a photographer (and filmmaker!) based in Shotts, North Lanarkshire, right in the heart of Central Scotland.
I’m a proud dad to our beautiful wee lady, Ellie-Mae, who is pre-verbal at the moment, and I’m married to my amazing wife Rachael – who, if I’m being totally honest, is the real gaffer of the business! Rachael runs the day-to-day side of things, takes on her own weddings, and often second shoots alongside me too. We’re very much a family-run team, and that’s something our couples tell us they really feel when they work with us.
Our vision has always been simple:

Our Approach
More than anything, we believe your wedding day should feel easy, natural, and completely you.
Our style is relaxed and unobtrusive – we’re there to tell the story as it unfolds, not to direct or stage it. We focus on real moments, genuine emotion, and all the in-between bits you might not even realise are happening at the time. Couples often tell us they felt like they had an extra calm friend by their side rather than someone constantly directing the day.
Proudly Hybrid
Hybrid photography and filmmaking isn’t something we offer occasionally – it’s what we do most of the time.
We’re proud to be one of the most established hybrid shooting teams in Scotland, with over 300 weddings captured using a hybrid approach. For us, hybrid isn’t about doing two jobs at once – it’s about knowing exactly when to switch between stills and film to tell the story of your day naturally and seamlessly.
This experience means we can move intuitively, capture moments as they happen, and preserve not just how your day looked, but how it felt – the laughter, the nerves, the atmosphere, and the moments you might have missed.
A Personal Experience
Because we’re a small, family-run team, we get to know our couples properly. From the first message right through to delivery of your images and films, you’ll be dealing with us – no outsourcing, no awkward handovers, just familiar faces and a calm, reassuring presence on the day.
We’re friendly, flexible, and always happy to answer questions (even the random ones!). We also promise to be as transparent with you as possible – even down to prices being on our website!
