We decided to introduce Videography to our packages because of our own experience in planning our own Wedding. We didn’t have space in our budget for a separate videographer, so we ended up not having anything, and we can’t begin to tell you how much we regret this! So we have developed a way to include videography in our photography packages. Read more below on how we do this!
We offer a Hybrid Photography/Videography service. This means that Gary does everything on the day, so there’s no extra person to cater for! You’re already paying for his time to be there on the day as your photographer, so you’re only paying extra for the editing time.
On the day, he has two static videography cameras which are on tripods at different angles throughout the ceremony and speeches; plus another camera on a gimbal which he can move around with. This is used both to capture video footage and still images and switches between the two of these at the click of a button. This allows him to capture the more cinematic, moving footage which mostly makes up your highlight video. He also has another camera in his hand which he takes photos on, he is usually only operating two at one time during your ceremony for short bursts.
After all the editing has been completed, you will receive your images alongside 3 videography files:
1–15 Minute Highlight Video set to licensed music (we work with Musicbed.com).
Separate video file of your ceremony in full, unedited so that it is as it was on the day.
Separate video file of your speeches in full, unedited so that it is as it was on the day.
We get asked this all the time! We realise it sounds A LOT! However, Gary has developed a way in which to capture both on the day, without sacrificing quality in either, or being under pressure. We have invested heavily in equipment and technology that allows you to be safe in the knowledge that Gary is carrying out the best job for you in a way that allows you to receive both photography and videography from your day, without it costing the earth! In a nutshell, yes. However if you’re only having videography, we do need to account for our time on the day which has already been paid for if you’re adding it to a photography package (all you pay for is our editing time if you are adding it to an existing photography package). Our flat rate for videography only (the exact service mentioned above) is £1295 from preparations until the first dance. This falls in line with our photography only all day package (platinum).
